誕生の背景
Grand Prix™は、Fritz Hansen（フリッツ・ハンセン）のためにArne Jacobsen（アルネ・ヤコブセン）が手がけたシリーズです。製品データシートにはデザイン年として1957年と記載されています。Fritz Hansenは、このデザインを同年のミラノ・トリエンナーレと結びつけており、同展でグランプリを受賞しました。
デザインの特徴
すべてのモデルは、同じ成形ベニヤのシェルを備えています。仕上げは天然オークまたはウォールナット、着色アッシュ、そして16色から選べるラッカー仕上げです。オプションとして、フロントアップholsteryまたはフルアップholsteryも選択できます。
