Gentleman

Origin

Poliform describes Gentleman as a collection of armchairs, pouffes and sofas that can be used singly or combined, to create spaces for relaxation in the home and in communal areas. The series was developed from Gentleman Single, a compact armchair that the page says expresses maximum comfort in small dimensions; its soft curves and slender feet are said to emphasise an elegant bearing inspired by that of the gentlemen of the past.

The seating pages give Studio Marcel Wanders and the year 2019. Upholstery is leather or fabric, also with grosgrain edging, and the technical rows name a grosgrain insert coloured as the samples and painted aluminium casting for the feet.
