Collection Story
Origin
Freeman is Rodolfo Dordoni's seating system in Minotti's 2016 Collection. Minotti describes it as a system with a split personality: a soft, inviting core identity that encourages relaxation, and a spirited alter ego with a more dynamic, contemporary mindset.
Design Language
Duvet elements have smooth, enveloping lines and extra-soft cushions; Tailor elements have more defined shapes and one-piece seats with top-stitching. Both stand on an extruded aluminium frame with cast corner joints in glossy Bronze.
Key Pieces
- Freeman "Duvet" sofas of 182, 224 and 308 cm
- Freeman "Tailor" elements, including "Wing" and "Mix"
- Freeman "Lounge", the reduced-depth extension of Tailor
- Calder coffee tables shown with the system
