Collection Story
Origin
Form began as Simon Legald's graduation project at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in 2012. Normann Copenhagen developed it over three years; the fact sheet gives 2014 as the year of design.
Design Language
A single plastic mould secures the frame, so the legs seem to grow out of the shell. The mounting solution lets different bases fit the same openings, giving more than 100,000 combinations of models, colors, textiles and bases.
Key Pieces
Form Chair and Armchair (wood, steel, swivel), Form Chair Stacking, Form barstools and bar chairs (65 and 75 cm) and the Form Café Table.
