Collection Story
Origin
Flaneur is the GUBI collection by GamFratesi that reinterprets the nineteenth-century English roll-arm sofa. GUBI's tables date the lounge chair and the sofa to 2019.
Design Language
GamFratesi's page describes straighter lines, clearer geometry and a deeper, softer seat. GUBI and GamFratesi have since recalibrated the collection with a shorter seat depth, a seat core of pocket springs and layered foam and tighter upholstery.
