Collection Story

Origin

The collection takes its name from Queen Elizabeth II, who according to Audo's product pages bought examples of Ib Kofod-Larsen's Model U56 chair while visiting Denmark. Audo credits the design to him.

Design Language

Audo calls the chair a prime example of Danish Modern, pointing to its sculpted armrests, low leather-upholstered seat and sleigh-like back.

Key Pieces

The collection page lists two pieces: the Elizabeth Lounge Chair and the Elizabeth Ottoman, each shown with six colour options. Audo describes the ottoman as an accent piece for use when reclining in the corresponding chair.
