Collection Story
Origin
Fredericia's Delphi collection page lists twelve products by Hannes Wettstein: two Delphi Sofas (2 seater 205 cm, 3 seater 240 cm), eight Delphi Elements configurations and two Elements ottomans. The sheets give 2007 for all of them. An archived Erik Jørgensen history page says the design began with a drawing on a napkin in Milan.
Design Language
Fredericia's collection story speaks of an uninterrupted design without ornament, armrests aligned with the backrest and a niche between backrest and seat cushions, and of a modular system, Delphi Elements, alongside pre-configured sofas.
