Collection Story

Origin

Cornaro is a Cassina seating family attributed to Carlo Scarpa in 1973, built on the contrast between a wooden base and soft padding. Its proportions have been updated, with more height and depth, in work done with Tobia Scarpa, and it is made as a sofa, an armchair and end elements.

Design Language

A solid beech or ash base in lacquer holds generous padding, and thin black saddle leather laces pass through a grommet at the backrest.
