Collection Story
Origin
Collector is a series of three mid-century lighting designs created in the 1950s by the Swedish designer Alf Svensson. The name refers to the enduring relevance and collectability of his work.
Design Language
The fixtures fuse classic elegance with graphic forms. Brass and powder-coated metal are shaped into chandelier forms for the wall and the ceiling, and small perforations in each conical shade create shadows on surrounding surfaces. The Collector Wall Lamp has a conical shade that projects light in two directions.
