Collection Story
Origin
Bubble Club is a Philippe Starck family for Kartell. Kartell's page calls the sofa an industrial piece, one in which rotational moulding technology let the company mass produce.
Design Language
The two-seater is described with soft armrests set against a more rational backrest, an essential silhouette that recalls "grandma's sofa". The data sheet gives the family one material, smooth batch-dyed polyethylene, and six colours.
Key Pieces
The library holds the Bubble Club sofa. Kartell's page pairs it with an armchair and an occasional table in matching finishes and colours, a group it names an "industrial lounge".
