Collection Story

Origin

AutoStrada brings together four decades of Knoll workplace thinking in one architectural system. Charles Rozier worked with Robert and Douglas Reuter on its engineering, while Knoll design director Carl Magnusson shaped its visual character. Jonathan Crinion's 1999 Open Table became the AS-4 component.

Design Language

Four planning modes share one aesthetic. AS-1 uses a powered spine; AS-2 organizes work around storage; AS-3 applies modular supports to walls; and AS-4 makes continuous shared surfaces. Across them, Knoll emphasizes millwork-quality detail, veneers, anodized aluminum and glass.

Key Pieces

The INTEBEE family links the AutoStrada architectural workplace system and AutoStrada Tables. The tables add rectangular, square and round formats, two leg designs, optional casters and modesty panels.
