Collection Story
Origin
Augusto grew from a sofa by Vincent Van Duysen into a modular seating system, and the series datasheet carries the year 2023. Molteni&C's pages list the sofa and an armchair as the members.
Design Language
The series pairs soft padded seats with a slim metal structure and a coordinating piping that outlines the cushions. The datasheet adds curvilinear modules that make circular compositions.
Key Pieces
- Augusto sofa, a modular system with side and centre pieces, chaise lounges, island pieces and curved modules
- Augusto armchair, which Molteni&C calls one bold accent piece of the series
