Story

Starting from comfort

In conceiving Augusto, Van Duysen started with the idea of total comfort. Molteni&C describes him examining how the body would sink into the voluminous seat, recline into the cushioned backrest or lean on the square-shaped armrests.

Where one finds home

The page opens with the line that if home is the heart of daily life, the Augusto sofa is where one finds home, and it presents the sofa as carrying the welcoming spirit of Molteni&C.
