Collection Story
Origin
Amp is Simon Legald's lamp collection for Normann Copenhagen. The idea for the shape came while he was restoring an old radio from the 1960s and was captivated by the glow of its tube amplifier, which also gave the collection its name.
Design Language
Glass of the type used for an hourglass is paired with marble, and each lamp is proportioned to balance hard and soft, transparent and opaque.
