Collection Story
Origin
Adda is Antonio Citterio's 2017 seating family for Flexform. The sheet for each piece is titled "ADDA | ANTONIO CITTERIO | 2017", and Flexform's bed page says the sofa was launched at the Salone del Mobile in April 2017. A Flexform video titled "2018 Collection" later introduced the bed.
Design Language
Flexform calls the sofa clean and contemporary: a lightweight structure, generously filled goose-down cushions with piping that highlights their soft shapes, and a metal base covered in leather or fabric that stands on exposed cast-aluminium feet. The armchair is said to share the same straightforward aesthetic, and the bed carries the modern, essential look over to a headboard made of two cushions.
