Description
Overview
Zeus is an asymmetrical chaise longue whose shell opens outward from the base. Flexform describes the form as sculptural and positions the daybed for both residential and public interiors.
Construction
The rigid polyurethane shell is combined with polyurethane foam. A goose-down seat cushion contains a crushproof core, and separate back and headrest cushions are specified. Cast-aluminium bases lift the shell clear of the floor, with thermoplastic pads beneath.

A dynamic outline
Antonio Citterio designed Zeus in 2014. The outward-opening armrests establish its asymmetry, while the long seat and raised supports give the piece a distinct profile.

Cushion system
The optional headrest includes a metal counterweight. Flexform specifies non-removable fabric or leather upholstery and requires prior approval for the selected fabric.
