Story
Alongside the Ox Chair
Fredericia writes that the Queen Chair was designed alongside the Ox Chair and presents a softer interpretation of Hans J. Wegner's sculptural design language. According to the page it was introduced in 1960, and its generous proportions, embracing armrests and refined upholstery balance visual presence with an inviting sense of comfort.

Regal, yet relaxed
The product description calls the chair regal yet relaxed, and says it embodies Wegner's belief that for a design to be striking it must be based on practicality. The page adds that each Queen Chair gets its upholstery in the company's Svendborg workshop in Denmark, where traditional techniques are used.
