Description
Overview
The Wegner Ox Table Ø100 (Model 1020) is a round coffee table that Hans J. Wegner designed in 1960, the year of the Ox and Queen chairs. It is 100 cm in diameter and is offered at two heights, 35 cm and 41 cm; the sheet gives its weight as 18.6 kg.

Construction
The sheet lists a veneer table top as in the original design, an MDF core and an edge in solid wood. The table is always mounted with plastic glides, and the height has to be specified when ordering. Fredericia describes the self-supporting construction as completed without any side rails.
Specifications
- Top: oak lacquer or oak oil, both FSC Mix 70% on the page
- Frame: brushed stainless steel
- Heights: 35 cm or 41 cm
- Weight: 18.6 kg
Story
A centrepiece from 1960
Fredericia's page says the Ox Table was designed in 1960, alongside the Ox Chair and Queen Chair, and that it fits as a natural centrepiece. It calls the table a classic Hans J. Wegner piece in a simple yet complex design, with a sleek and elegant profile because no side rails are needed.

Overlapping tops
The page adds that more tables can be put together with overlapping table tops. According to the Wegner Ox Ottoman page, Fredericia put the Ox Table back into production in 2022.
