Description
Overview
Untitled (2026, Vincent Van Duysen) is a seating system that grew out of a reflection, in B&B Italia's account, on how structure and comfort relate. Linear sofas, modular elements and an armchair belong to the range, and every piece has a solid wood structure.
Construction
- Frame: solid wood, left visible, with a subtle chamfer along its edges
- Seat slats: multi-layered wood
- Hardware: steel; ferrules: thermoplastic material
- Cover: fabric or leather
- Upholstery: shaped, variable-density polyurethane plus polyester fibre, under a polyester-fibre cover
- Cushion (U55C): polyester fibre with a polyester-fibre cover
Specifications
- U260: Largest drawing values, not labelled with axes: 260, 110 and 76 cm
Story
Structure and comfort
Untitled starts, the page says, from a reflection on structure and comfort. The solid wood structure gives the range its identity and shows its architectural design; it is deliberately left in view, as part of how the sofa looks and feels.

Cushions that complete the frame
A fine chamfer follows the edges of the structure so that light can draw its lines. The cushions add softness and ease, wrapping the structure and finishing it instead of hiding it.
