Description
Overview
The U-turn Floor Lamp is a floor lamp for Ligne Roset by Eric Jourdan, a style of lamp in the pure tradition of the French arts décoratifs with a U-shaped form.
Construction
The metal base is steel lacquered in satin black epoxy (RAL 9004), square at 45 x 45 cm and 15 mm thick. The cylindrical shade, Ø 50 cm and 40 cm high, is made of chintz in a gris clair colour. The cable is transparent PVC and the foot switch is transparent.
Lighting and size
It is supplied with one 330° 20 W E27 LED globe bulb of Ø 120 mm, 2,700 K (warm white) and 2,000 lumens. Height 1,760 mm, shade diameter 500 mm, weight 15 kg.
Story
French arts décoratifs, with a U
Eric Jourdan set out to create a floor lamp in the pure tradition of the French arts décoratifs. It can look classic at first glance but is not short of originality, in its U-shaped form as much as in its name, a contemporary invitation to dive back into French tradition.
Base, shade and bulb
The lamp stands on a 45 x 45 cm square base of satin black epoxy lacquered steel, 15 mm thick, and carries a cylindrical gris clair chintz shade of Ø 50 cm by 40 cm. A 20 W E27 LED globe bulb with a 330° beam, 2,700 K and 2,000 lumens comes with it.
