Construction
The configured 120 × 70 cm version has a direct-coated top without a cut-out and a powder-coated base. Under-table power, cable covers and strain relief are available through the product configuration.
Specifications
The rectangular model measures 1200 × 700 mm and adjusts from 650 to 1250 mm. The maximum height is stored here; a second official drawing shows the barrel-shaped model at 1300 × 750 mm.
Story
Tyde 2 for the home
This 2024 design translates the sit-stand operation of Vitra's Tyde 2 system into a desk specifically presented for domestic settings. Concealed technical parts and a choice between rectangular and barrel-shaped tops distinguish it from the larger workstation layouts.
A focused Bouroullec version
Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec retained the family's height adjustment and cable organisation but concentrated them in a single desk. Vitra describes the resulting form and material direction as casual and relaxed, with the mechanism kept visually discreet.
