Tufty-Time 20 Outdoor takes Patricia Urquiola's modular Tufty-Time concept outside. B&B Italia lists it with the year 2026. According to the page it holds on to the modular approach and offers ten modules, one of them a new curved element, for private residences or contract spaces.

Construction
The structure is tubular steel and steel profiles treated by cataphoresis, covered by flexible cold shaped polyurethane foam and a water repellent polyester fibre layer. In back cushions the filling is polyester fibre within a water repellent polyester fibre cover; feet and ferrules are thermoplastic material. The waterproof cover cloth is PES fabric, PU-coated on one side only, and the cover is fabric in limited categories.

Story
Moving the system outdoors
The page presents Tufty-Time 20 Outdoor as the new version of the celebrated modular system. Having redefined domestic sociality, the project now opens to outdoor spaces and brings outside the design verve, comfort and versatility it has shown from 2005 up to today.
Rebuilt for the weather
Its structure was completely redesigned to withstand outdoor conditions and to ensure the greatest possible sustainability. The system is 100% disassemblable, allowing materials to be reused when their lifecycle ends. Outdoor fabric held by drawstrings and Velcro forms the upholstery, the padding is mechanically recyclable polyurethane, and cataphoresis treatment protects the metal frame from corrosion.
