Overview
Designed by Tim Rundle, the TR Bulb Suspended Wall Lamp is an indoor wall light from Audo Copenhagen. An opal glass globe hangs from a protruding arm, a meeting of straight lines and round shapes, and a dial on the wall-mounted backplate dims the LED bulb.
Construction
Mouth-blown opal glass forms the globe, and aluminium inside lets heat leave the LED so the bulb keeps an optimum running temperature. The fitting is available in brushed brass or mirror polished steel. The US version is hardwired.
Specifications
20 x 32 x 45.5 cm (71131-001465). US version: E26 socket on 110-130 V, 6.5 W maximum. Included bulb: 683 lm, 2700 K, Ra above 80, 30,000 hours. Rotary dimmer, IP20, protection class 2, net weight 1.594 kg.
Story
The TR series
Tim Rundle's TR series for Audo is based on a nomadic way of living, moving between cities and countries in pursuit of experience. Here the itinerant TR Bulb in opal glass is mounted on a wall.
Straight lines and round shapes
The globe hangs from a protruding arm, simple in form yet sophisticated in expression. The dimmable LED bulb gives an even, glare-free glow.
