Description
Overview
Nendo's Torii Nest Outdoor Dining brings a compact woven armchair to Minotti's exterior table settings. Its circular woven back embraces a padded seat above a timber base and polished Bronze aluminium legs. The chair measures 64 x 64 x 86 cm.
Structure
The tubular stainless-steel back is finished in polished Bronze and woven with polypropylene cord. The plywood seat is veneered in Dark Brown solid mahogany or natural-finish teak, then padded in variable-density polyurethane foam.
Versions
Minotti offers fixed and 360-degree swivel versions without return. Seat and back cushion covers are completely removable, with water-repellent protective layers and construction accessories.
Story
From Interior to Open Air
Torii Nest began as an indoor design before Minotti adapted the family for outdoor use in armchair, lounge and dining forms. The outdoor derivative keeps the Japanese-reference details and circular back while changing its construction for exterior settings.
Woven Circle
The back's broad polypropylene weave takes inspiration from Vienna straw at a larger scale. Its round outline frames the padded seat while keeping the chair visually light.
