Description
Overview
Togrul is a table by Gordon Guillaumier for Tacchini. It is a totem that turns any environment into a temple of conviviality: a table whose sculptural base joins momentum and solidity.
Construction
The top is marble or MDF with a clay finish, and the base is rigid polyurethane foam with a clay finish. The base finish is clay made from raw earth, hand-spatulated to bring out its chromatic and tactile character. The marble top has an ecological anti-stain coating that preserves the natural stone and protects it from stains, corrosion and sunlight. A concrete paste covering for base and top is also offered.

Pushing the boundaries of material
With Togrul, Gordon Guillaumier pushes the boundaries of material to create a table suitable for multiple environments and situations. The top is available in various shapes.
A base finished in raw earth
The sculptural bases are finished in clay made from raw earth and hand-spatulated, which enhances the chromatic and tactile characteristics of the material. The marble top carries a special ecological anti-stain coating.
