Description

Overview

The Tessa coffee table is a 2020 design by Antonio Citterio. Its product-specific sheet defines one low rectangular format whose solid-wood structure surrounds a marble top.

Construction

Five solid timbers define the frame: Canaletto walnut, ash, oak, mahogany and wenge. Metal supports are clad in cowhide, while die-cast zama feet carry one of six stated treatments.

Specifications

Code 027271 measures 63 × 68 × 43 cm. A second vertical value of 40 cm is also printed in the drawing but is not labelled.

Story

Solid wood around stone

The coffee-table sheet specifies a solid-wood structure in five timber species surrounding a marble top. This material program distinguishes the table from the woven seat and back used by Tessa seating.

Material junctions

Metal supports clad in cowhide connect the top assembly to the structure, and die-cast zama feet finish the four corners. Flexform publishes six cowhide colours and six metal treatments for these two details.
