Overview
The Tearoom Club Chair is a fully upholstered club chair by Nick Ross for Audo Copenhagen. Audo says Ross took inspiration from Charles Rennie Mackintosh's Willow Chair, created for the Willow Tearooms in Glasgow in 1904, and reworked it for modern comfort. The form is described as suited to hotel, club or lounge settings and to private living spaces.
Construction
The materials panel lists wood construction, webbing, PU foam and MDF. Audo's product sheet adds a plywood frame, a five-layer foam seat on webbing or belts, double foam in the back and arms and a painted MDF base.
