Story
Wood and Metal
Cappellini presents Tate Wood as a chair by Jasper Morrison that pairs the warmth of wood with the lightness of metal. The shell is beech plywood veneered in mahogany or oak, which the maker says adds natural charm and sophistication, while the metal base provides stability and durability.
Bases and Writing Tablet
The base is offered in sled, five-spoke or four-leg versions, and the chair stacks. An optional thick laminate writing tablet can be added. Cappellini positions the chair for living areas, offices and contract spaces.
