Story
A dining chair rethought through motion
Cassina describes Tamburound as a small armchair by the English duo Barber Osgerby that challenges the traditional formality of the dining chair, taking inspiration from motion. The seat and backrest swivel independently thanks to a system developed by Cassina, and the text likens them to satellites drawing two harmonious orbits.
Circular materials
The text says Cassina used polyurethane with polyols from biological sources in the foam-fill parts and recycled PET in the padding. The product sheet dates the design to 2023.
