Story
A surface to be used
Tako was designed in the 1970s by Cini Boeri and "is not a piece of furniture, but a surface to be used". It reflects her idea of flexible, easily reconfigurable design that enhances the way we live in our spaces.
Domestic rituals at a low height
The top is large enough for small daily rituals, as a place to set everyday objects or as an extension of the sofa where feet can rest. The low height is inspired by oriental conviviality and encourages conversation and social interaction.
