Sveva Armchair

Overview

Sveva is a swivel armchair by Carlo Colombo, dated 2018. Flexform describes a shapely shell of rigid structural polyurethane, upholstered in saddle hide, that holds soft goose-down seat and seat back cushions, on a cast aluminum base with four or five spokes.

Construction

The frame is rigid polyurethane upholstered in cowhide. The cushions are goose down and the base is cast aluminium with a 360-degree swivel, in four or five spokes.

The page adds that its sophisticated yet uncomplicated lines suit all the sofas in the collection, in residential as well as hospitality interiors.

Shell, base and options

The five-spoke base was specifically designed for the contract market. Between the saddle-hide shell, offered in an array of colours, and the cushion upholstery, which can be made in any of the exclusive Flexform fabrics and leathers, countless combinations are possible. The armchair can be paired with its own namesake ottoman.
