Description
Overview
The Supernatural small armchair, code 061, is Ross Lovegrove's one-piece armchair for Moroso. Its moulded form combines the seat, perforated back, arms and legs in a continuous shell with no separately assembled components.
Construction
Moroso forms the armchair from reinforced polypropylene using high-pressure gas-assisted injection moulding. The small armchairs can be stacked up to four high.
Colours
The technical sheet assigns six colour options to codes 156 and 061, placing the small armchair in the same finish group as the perforated-back chair.
Story
A continuous moulded form
Supernatural turns reinforced polypropylene into a single flowing component rather than assembling a separate seat, back, arms and legs. Large openings punctuate the back and establish the armchair's recognisable outline.
Stackable armchair 061
Moroso identifies 061 as the small armchair and states that up to four can be stacked. The six-colour group is shared with the perforated-back chair code 156.
