Strata Coffee Table Outdoor

Overview

Poliform's page describes the outdoor Strata coffee tables, designed by Emmanuel Gallina in 2023, as a cross between a sculpture and a coffee table, inspired by mineral stratifications. They come in different sizes and heights, with round planes or organic shapes.

Construction

The structure is cement and the top is cement or fused glass; the glass top has a painted stainless steel spacer. Poliform says the tables are made for mould casting in Cementoskin®, an advanced material with very high resistance.

Specifications

• Size: 1390 x 900 x 280 mm (organic-shaped top)
• Structure: cement (Cementoskin®)
• Top: cement or fused glass

Sculpture and coffee table

Poliform calls the Strata collection by Emmanuel Gallina a cross between a sculpture and a coffee table, inspired by mineral stratifications.

Pieces that match each other

The page says each piece, in its different sizes and heights, round or organic in shape, expresses its own particular uniqueness while perfectly matching the others, like stones in nature. The tables are cast in a mould in Cementoskin®.
