Edward Barber と Jay Osgerby が 2022年 にデザインした Soft Wait は、公共空間向けのモジュラー式座席システムです。座面、背もたれ、プラットフォーム、テーブルの各ユニットを組み合わせ、直線状、曲線状、円形のレイアウトを構成できます。
システム
- 600 mm のフォーマットを基準にしたモジュール構成
- 直線状、曲線状、円形の配置に対応
- システム内で電源・データ接続が可能
- 光沢仕上げまたは粉体塗装仕上げの金属部材
表面素材
テーブルにはソリッドコア素材を使用しています。張り座面には、Vitra が指定する PVC フリーの人工皮革を採用しています。
ストーリー
柔軟に対応する待合空間
Vitra は、利用頻度が高く、レイアウトが変化する空間のために Soft Wait を開発しました。設置後も拡張や変更が可能です。
複雑な平面に対応するモジュール
曲線状の部材により、直線状のベンチだけでなく、リングや円弧状の配置も可能です。Vitra は、柱まわりなど形状が複雑なエリアへの配置を特に強調しています。
