Description
Overview
Ron Arad designed Soft Heart in 1991 as part of Moroso's Spring Collection. Configurator code SK0061 matches the armchair code in the technical sheet.
Construction
Cold-injected polyurethane is formed around an internal steel frame. The base specification meets CAL TB 117 and excludes flame retardants; Moroso also lists a fireproof option tested to BS 5852 crib 5. The non-removable covering remains fixed around the moulded body.

Story
A heart drawn in volume
Soft Heart turns its name into the armchair's outline: two rounded upper lobes meet at the centre, while a curled extension opens from the lower edge. Ron Arad developed the design for Moroso in 1991.
Spring Collection construction
The continuous upholstered volume is made possible by cold-injected polyurethane around steel. Unlike the separate Spring modular sofa by Patricia Urquiola, this Ron Arad armchair belongs to the 1991 Spring Collection and carries a fixed cover.
