Story
From a stacking toy
The colours of the table, and the idea that it can be built as the user likes, came from the Brio Stacking Clown that Mia Hamborg had as a child. She wants people to feel a sense of joy when they see her design.
Built by the user
The page lets the user decide the shape, colour and height of the table and calls it a truly Nordic approach to democratic design. Hamborg's designer panel adds that her work blends functionality with a playful sense of humour and uses the tradition of wood turning.
