Cushions

Muuto's material tab describes a back cushion with a single outdoor-suited foam core, wadding and an inner lining, and a seat cushion of stacked outdoor-suited foam layers, held in place by an anti-slip feature built into it. Extra loose cushions for back support can be bought separately.

Frame and webbing

Bent steel tubes, rods and plates form the frame, which is electro-galvanized, primed and powder-coated; the webbing blends 72% polypropylene with 28% synthetic rubber. According to Muuto, its main parts are meant to come apart, so that they can be repaired, refurbished or recycled.
