Story
A 1936 design
Zanotta dates Sant'Elia to 1936 and credits Giuseppe Terragni, the architect associated on the manufacturer's designer page with Italian Rationalism, Constructivism and Futurism.
Model 850
The manufacturer's record is concise: an 18/8 stainless-steel frame carries polyurethane upholstery beneath a leather cover. The official sheet presents the chair as model 850 and prints the same designer and year as the product page.
