Description
Overview
The Sandy armchair is an outdoor seat designed by nendo for Minotti. Its frame is aluminium, powder-coated in a glossy finish that is offered in five colours, and the upholstery lifts off completely.
Construction
- Frame: aluminium, powder-coated in polyester for exterior use, with a glossy surface that resists fingerprints
- Cushions: high-resilience polyurethane foam with viscose fibre, covered in water-repellent polyester fabric
- Fixing: the seat cushion and backrest cushion are zipped together, and teak frogs secure them to the structure
- Feet: adjustable, in black protective polyethylene

Story
An aluminium armchair in five finishes
The armchair frame is made entirely of aluminium with a glossy, anti-fingerprint powder-coat. Five finishes are offered, and the structure is not sold in any other colour.
Cushions that lift off
Seat and backrest each have a cushion of polyurethane foam and viscose fibre, protected from water and humidity by a water-repellent polyester fabric. The upholstery is completely removable, and teak frogs hold the cushions on the frame.
