Overview
San Siro Plus is a small armchair by Jasper Morrison for Cappellini, dated 2023. It has a slender bucket seat structure, soft in shape, and is available on feet or on casters. A memory foam inner padding adds to the comfort.
Construction
Inside, polyurethane foam is combined with a metal frame, springs and birch plywood, and memory foam adds internal padding. The upholstery is fixed: leather on the outside and a selection of fabrics on the inside, with tone on tone stitching. Ground contact is through black plastic feet fitted with a rubber element, or black plastic casters.

Story
A double finish
San Siro Plus is a small armchair whose shell is covered with leather for the back and fabric for the front. The cover is stitched and fitted by expert hands, following the sinuous profile of the shell and showing off its very thin thickness.
Added padding
The soft shape, clear sign and well-finished design that mark the armchair come with an internal memory foam padding that gives a more pronounced comfort. Jasper Morrison designed it as an evolution of an earlier armchair of his.
