Saki Armchair

Overview

The Saki armchair is nendo's armchair for Minotti, offered with or without armrests and, optionally, on a floor base that is either fixed or swivels.

Construction

• Plywood seat coated in high-resilience polyurethane foam, under quilted goose down
• Support panels in glossy lacquered structural polyurethane (Baydur 60) or in a metal frame padded with foam and upholstered
• Cushions in channelled goose down around a polyurethane foam core, joined to the seat with a zipper
• Cast aluminium feet, or a metal base that swivels 360 degrees with return

• Armchair without base: 104 x 91 x 70 cm
• Armchair with armrest: 92 x 91 x 70 cm; without armrests: 80 x 91 x 70 cm
• Footstool / ottoman: 80 x 78 x 41 cm

Panels and cushions

The armchair's support panels come glossy lacquered in one of three colours, or with a fabric or leather cover, and Minotti lists three ways to pair them with the cushions. Leather-upholstered panels carry double stitching down the centre.

Bases

The armchair can stand on its own cast aluminium feet or on an added square base with rounded corners, which comes in a fixed and a swivel version. The footstool is fixed.
