Description
Overview
The S 1196/1 is a folding table designed by the Thonet Design Team in 2019. It has a chrome-plated round-tube frame, a white melamine top and legs set at the ends of the top.
Construction
One pair of legs carries small rollers and the other pair carries adjustable glides. A simple folding mechanism lets the table be folded for storage.

Story
A folding table that keeps a quiet look
Thonet presents the S 1196/1 as a lightweight table whose folding function is not visible at first glance. Its aesthetics are clear and restrained, and the materials and processing are of high quality.
Placed by one person
Small rollers in one pair of legs let a single person set the table up quickly and easily, and adjustable glides in the other pair allow it to be aligned. With the legs at the ends of the top, the table offers a large amount of leg room.
