Description
Overview
Mario Ferrarini's Roll desk combines a compact work surface with a raised curved surround. Its finished rear allows it to stand away from a wall or serve as a console in a hallway.
Materials
The body is multi-ply faced with natural walnut veneer and protected by a natural varnish. A slender steel base carries a satin black epoxy-lacquer finish.
Dimensions
The desk measures 1,025 x 665 x 900 mm (W x D x H) and weighs 38 kg. A cable opening in the rear panel routes power from the work surface.
Story
A desk with a finished back
Roll encloses the working area with a gently raised, continuous walnut-veneered edge. Because the outer face is also finished, the desk can be positioned in the centre of a room rather than only against a wall.
Compact cable management
A rear cable opening keeps the work surface connected without interrupting the curved shell. The dark steel base visually separates the walnut volume from the floor.
