Description
Indoor Rivulet chair
Rivulet is a 2018 chair with a decorative woven back and armrests. The indoor frame may be 30 mm solid ash or 22 mm steel tube.
Upholstered seat
A plywood seat frame carries cross-woven elastic straps, polyurethane foam and acrylic-fibre covering. Fabric or leather upholstery is non-removable.
Story
Rivulet by Junpei & Iori Tamaki
Junpei & Iori Tamaki designed Rivulet in 2018. Its defining element is the weaving that wraps the curved back and armrest line. The continuous outline joins these two parts visually.
Indoor material choices
The indoor version combines natural or charcoal-dyed ash with cellulose, synthetic or hide rope. A steel-frame alternative shares the Gunmetal Grey coating used by the related outdoor version.
