Rewrite desk
Ligne Roset describes Rewrite as a desk enclosed by a soundproofed bubble that moderates outside light and noise. The page specifies solid walnut legs, a walnut-veneered MDF top, a lacquered metal chest for transformers and electrical cables, and a slit cable port. The bubble uses fibreglass clad in polyether foam with Kvadrat Steelcut Trio wool on both faces. The page further specifies a white lacquered steel chest beneath the top for transformers and cables, while the rear slit is solid walnut.
Story
A private connected workspace
The Rewrite desk creates a protected work setting while retaining a connection to the surrounding room. GamFratesi is credited as designer. The rounded form may be located in a living room, bedroom or large hallway, and the page identifies the cable chest and top port as functional elements. The published dimensions are 58 inches high, 39 inches long and 29 inches deep, giving the desk a defined compact footprint.
