Description
Overview
Ray Outdoor Natural is a 2017 family of outdoor sofas and chairs by Antonio Citterio, inspired by the Ray indoor collection. Its interlacing rope pattern recalls Manila hemp and is made of textilene; the sofas stand on aluminium extrusion feet or on a teakwood base-frame.
Construction
- Structure: powder-painted (polyester) tubular aluminium with aluminium profiles
- Cushioning: Solotex fibre, visco-elastic polyurethane and shaped polyurethane in a water repellent polyester fibre cover
- Woven part: textilene braid
- Support: die-cast aluminium and extrusions, polyester painted, or solid wood
