Description

Conference tables at many scales

The Propeller Conference Table by Emanuela Frattini Magnusson uses a modular structure to span settings from smaller meeting rooms to very large conference spaces. Drum, Peanut, Rectangular and signature Propeller-leg bases support a broad set of widths, depths and finishes.

Technology within the base

Wires and electrical components remain concealed but accessible. Drum, Peanut and Rectangular bases use removable panels, while the S-shaped aluminum Propeller leg routes vertical wiring toward the tabletop. Matching credenzas, sideboards and a rolling cart extend the family.

Story

Introduced from a flexible table idea

Knoll states that Frattini Magnusson returned in 1994 with a table concept focused on flexibility, adaptability and power management. Propeller received an IIDA Apex Design Award in 1994, an IDSA Silver Industrial Design Excellence Award in 1995 and an honorable mention in the 1995 ID Award Design Review. The resulting family connects meeting-room scale, service access and coordinated storage within one programme.
