The series includes armchairs, wing chairs, two-seat sofas and a stool; the representative model is the Progetti 63220 armchair, 62 × 66 × H 88 cm.
Construction
The series is solid beech wood, with legs that are polished or lacquered. The armrests are polished pau ferro. The padding of seat and back is non-deformable multi-density polyurethane and fibre.

Story
A handle inspired by a walking stick
Giorgetti's history page has a 1987 entry: the company's R&D Center creates the Progetti collection, which it calls an iconic series of armchairs and sofas. The page says the series has a unique pau ferro handle, and that the handle is inspired by an antique walking stick.
A series, not one chair
The data sheet describes a series of armchairs, wing chairs, two-seat sofa and stool in solid beech wood, with polished or lacquered legs and polished pau ferro arms. Giorgetti's page calls Progetti an armchair with a strongly recognizable image that has become an icon for the company.
