Description
Overview
Bambù studio designed the Plissé table lamp for Ligne Roset. The lamp takes its inspiration from a playful game of light and shadow affixed to a fabric covering. Its shade is mouth-blown opal glass on a lacquered steel structure.
Making
The lamp is entirely hand-made, so each model is unique. The pleated (plissé), homogeneous texture of the shade surface gives it a more opulent, more complex presence and a softer, more flexible character.
Lighting
A 13 W LED bulb gives a 3000 K (warm white) light of 1140 lumens.

A game of light and shadow
Plissé takes its starting point from a playful game of light and shadow affixed to a fabric covering. The pleated (plissé) texture is homogeneous across the surface of the lampshade.
