Description

Overview

Piero Lissoni designed Planck in 2022 as a family of three small round tables. Shape and materials unite them, while each has its own character and personality. From the top to the base the structure widens gently into an elegant truncated cone.

Construction

The tops are tempered semi-transparent etched glass. The external frame is curved in poplar plywood, MDF wood fibre, multi-laminate veneer or hard polyurethane, and the internal frame is wood particles with a melamine faced cover. Ferrules are plastic.

Specifications

Top: tempered semi-transparent etched glass. Base finishes: lacquered in satin or gloss colours, or a rosewood-effect finish. Ferrules: plastic material.

Story

A truncated cone in glass and lacquer

Planck is a family of three small round tables by Piero Lissoni, dated 2022. They share their shape and materials yet each keeps its own character and personality. From top to base the structure gently widens, which gives the elegant truncated cone shape.

Etched glass and lacquered bases

Each table has a semi-transparent etched glass top. The bases are lacquered in satin or gloss colours, or finished with a sophisticated rosewood-effect look, over a curved external frame and a wood-particle internal frame.
